This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to all students enrolling in courses offered by Softech Institute of Technical Education, which operates under the guidance of Eduverse Skill Development Society.
1. General Refund Policy
Course fees once paid are generally non-refundable.
Refund requests are considered only under exceptional circumstances, at the sole discretion of the institute management.
2. Admission Cancellation (Before Course Start)
If a student cancels admission before the commencement of classes, a partial refund may be considered.
Any refund, if approved, will be subject to:
Admission processing charges
Registration and administrative costs
3. After Course Commencement
No refund will be provided once the course has started, regardless of:
Attendance
Personal reasons
Non-completion of the course
Change of mind
4. Non-Transferable Fees
Course fees are non-transferable to another student, course, or centre.
5. Mode of Refund
Approved refunds (if any) will be processed:
Within 15–30 working days
Through the original mode of payment or bank transfer
Cash refunds are not encouraged.
6. Course Discontinuation by Institute
In rare cases where the institute discontinues a course due to unavoidable reasons:
Students may be offered:
An alternative course, or
A proportionate refund (management decision final)
7. Certificates & Refund
Once a certificate is generated or issued, no refund will be applicable, even if the student discontinues later.
8. No Guarantee of Outcome
Course fees are charged for training and skill development services, not for:
Employment guarantee
Examination results
Academic equivalence with universities
9. Final Authority
All decisions regarding refunds and cancellations shall be final and binding as decided by the management of Softech Institute of Technical Education.
The institute provides training and skill development programs only. Fees are charged for services rendered and not for any degree, diploma, or government-recognised qualification.
